Tracey Adele Cooper, native of Ellington, Connecticut, has performed with Entity Theater since 2012: as The Fairy Godmother (in Entity's first Panto Cinderella) and as The Sultana in their 2015 panto Aladdin. She has also acted in Entity Theater Summer Shakespeare in the Park since its inception in 2013, appearing as Titania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Dame Quickly (Merry Wives of Windsor), Touchstone (As You Like It), Musical Director and Feste (Twelfth Night), Ariel (The Tempest), and most recently as Musical Director and Singer (Much Ado About Nothing). Tracey also played God (The Egg) and directed The Witch of Coös in Entity's 2014 Director Workshop. In 2016, Tracey played Great Aunt Repetitus (This Is Where We Came In) with The Monkey House, an shoot-off of Entity Theater. She was also heard in Entity's Christmas Radio Program as Mrs. Shellhammer (Miracle on 34th Street).
Since 2016, Tracey has been a member of the company of the Galli Theater in Munich, appearing as the Dreizehnte Fee in Galli Theater's Dornröschen, Die Technicherin in Galli Theater's Typisch Deutsch for their performances in the Goethe Institute Theater Tour Festival in the Czech Republic, and acting in/facilitating their Play-Along Theater (Mitmachtheater) in both English and German, with the entire breadth of fairy tales in their repertoire (Rumpelstiltskin, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Frau Holle, The Ice Queen, and The Frog Prince). Currently, Tracey plays the Sängerin in Galli's ongoing production of Galli's Krimikomödie, as well as being musical consultant on a number of projects, and acting and facilitating in various projects with Galli's Business Theater.
In 2017, Tracey was heard (though not seen) in Top Secret International (State 1) at Munich's Münchner Glyptothek Museum, a co-production between the Münchner Kammerspielen and Berlin's Theaterkollektiv Rimini Protokoll. In 2019 and 2020, she appeared in the Münchner Kammerspiele production of Die Kränkungen der Menschheit and in The Mini Playback Show at HochX. Since 2019, Tracey has been a prompter and member of the solo ensemble at Gärtnerplatztheater in München. Her roles there have included Sister Maria Hubert in the musical Nunsense.
Tracey earned her B.M./Vocal Performance from NYC's Manhattan School of Music, and has performed opera, theater and music theater from childhood. She currently sings in Munich as a Jazz, Classical and Gospel soloist, and is the Artistic Director of the Galli English Theatre Munich, where she also performs in English and German productions.
